Rise and Shine is a preschool and daycare center located in Fairfax, VA. It is a family owned business. Our goal is to enrich the lives of our youngest citizens. We believe in a loving, patient environment where kids can develop their social skills and intellect by playing and having fun. We strive to provide parents with the peace of mind they need by having an open door policy, lots of love, activities and smiles for their little treasures.
Mrs. Burgos - Director
Mrs. Burgos, our Center Director, comes to Rise and Shine Daycare with over 20 years of experience within the child care industry. Mrs. Burgos has served as the Director and Lead teacher for child care schools and programs ranging in ages from newborn to school age students. Mrs. Burgos holds a B.S. degree in Literature and Languages, and Accounting. She has been an early child care educator since 1994 and brings a wealth of experience to the center.

She has been happily married for 37 years and has four children and three grandchildren.

Mrs. Burgos believes on the importance of happiness in a child and its impact on their sense of security. She believes that a strong line of communications between caregiver and parent is important in helping children grow and develop.
